Principal Forensic Services in collaboration with Millington Hingley have delivered another successful BPA course.

Jo Millington together with our blood pattern expert Gillian Leak delivered an advanced course last week to a mixture of lab based scientists, Crime Scene Investigator’s and also a member of academia. The course consists of a mixture of lectures and practicals and each individual is assessed. Successful candidates are able to apply for membership of the IABPA.

Future courses:
A basic BPA (40 hour) course is timetabled for 16-20 September 2019. Places are already starting to fill. This week-long training course focuses on the basic application of BPA and is suitable for Law Enforcement Personnel, Crime Scene Investigators, Laboratory Practitioners and other individuals aligned with BPA (in the laboratory or at crimes scenes).

This course meets the educational standards as defined by IABPA and OSAC (formerly SWGSTAIN) and successful participants are able to apply for industry-standard membership of the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA). Access to post-course mentoring is available to all attendees.

Our courses are delivered by internationally-recognised experts working in partnership to provide professional training of the highest quality to multi-agency practitioners.
