Trinity School of Medicine collaborated with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Medical Association in November 2017 to host the second annual Forensic and the Law Symposium in St Vincent, West Indies. The attendees comprised forensic pathologists, DNA analysts, lawyers, police officers and medical professionals amongst others. The aim of the symposium was to bring together medical, legal and forensic professionals to share information and present on their own areas of expertise. Gillian presented on Blood Pattern Analysis and the UK experience of setting up a National DNA Database and welcomed the opportunity to attend and contribute.
